Screech - Scratch
So I finally got the van fixed and got it all perfect - oh no, it's Linda's turn at it. Seems like that cement pillar is a bad thing to rub up against. So the the right side of the van is once again scratched up after having all that work done. We took the van to the shop to get the broken window from the break in fixed and after several return visits there, they also painted our scratches on the side of the van - didn't fix them but just covered them up. So it's bad but we can live with it as we don't want to spend all that money fixing it again. Sigh.

Mom’s 70th
Mom turned 70 !! We had a surprise party for her at Mythos Greek Taverna in North Van. We had 22 people show up – mom was very surprised. We had a surprise fairy come by and sprinkle fairy dust on her and grant her a wish. Haley just loved the fairy. And spent some time with her.

We all went back to Doug and Helens afterwards - it was a fun evening

Car Break-in
After school last night, I returned to the parkade to find smashed glass all around the drivers side of my van. Little broken glass chips were all over the place – the seat, floor, back. I was about to get totally pissed off and then looked further around the van to see the drug addicted jerk didn’t get away with anything but maybe sunglasses and $4 in change. So he gets nothing and I now have to spend the time and pay $300 to have the window fixed. There were 5 cop cars outside of the parkade and they told me to report it online - sigh. It could have been much worse, didn’t damage my new paint job and my steering wheel club stopped them from stealing the whole thing and I removed my stereo faceplate which prevented them from ripping out my dash.
