Car Breakdown
Weekend before we went to my companys xmas party in Richmond. The whole family went we had fun and the food was good. On the way home we were supposed to go see a movie but the van broke down after we hit a pile of snow on the highway.

It seems that some snow/ice went up the underside of the van and knocked off the serpentine belt. Car lost power and I limped along for 20 minutes under just battery power and just before the van died on this snowy cold windy day on a baron highway, we found an open Canadian Tire (see pic) in the late Sunday afternoon. Everything else was closed. We spent 2 and a half hours pacing up and down the aisles with 2 kids not buying a thing but just waiting for them to fix it. They did and we finally made it home. We were lucky how it all worked out with the weather being so bad.

Haleys Birthday
Our little girl turned 4 !!!
We went to Club Aviva gymnastics with a few of her girlfriends for a party. She had fun and I played in the foam pit with the kids as well.

Bellingham
We all went with mom to Bellingham for a shopping weekend and boy did we ever shop. Seemed like we hit 20 stores. I basically took the kids to the toy department of each store while Mom and Linda shopped.

We got a good deal on the hotel and they had an indoor pool which was fun to play in with the kids.

Movie Review : Borat
Saw Borat last night. Don’t know how to review this one. I put it in the same category as Jackass. Silly over the top immature humor which makes you laugh and feel uncomfortable at the same time. Once minute your howling and then you cringe – that’s just wrong.

I give it a 7/10 but you have to be ready to leave your brain at the door and bring your sense of humor.

November Rain
The weather has changed – it seems like it’s been sunny since April – I don’t remember many rainy days since April – we must have set records for best summer. I know I made the most of the summer.

It is Monday morning now and I’m on the train and it’s just pouring out – Dark and miserable. I wanted to go camping this past weekend but due to weather, we satyed in all weekend.
