Screech - Crash !!
Today is a bad day - didn't sleep last night. On my way home from Langley with Carter in the back I came upon stopped traffic on the bridge deck and the icy roads made my van slide into the back of the car in front. No one was hurt which is great and I could still drive home which was great but I am having a hard time functioning right now knowing what I did. I wasn't tailgating or anything, everything just came to a stop so fast I didn't anticipate the icy road. Stupid Stupid. So now my whole drivers side front end is wrecked and it's just before Christmas and we have so much to do. Sigh.

The rest of my Weekend

Chris and Jalana's House
Went to Chris and Jalanas for a visit. Had a great time and it was fun to see the whole family again. It's been awhile. I must take Teil to a show one day - she's totally into the music I was 25 years ago. Carter had a good time playing pool in their basement.

Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
Took Carter to see this great Disney adaptation. Really good - Carter was scared with a few scenes but he really loved as did I. I had no idea what to expect or any knowledge of the storyline and it was fun.

Hockey Night in Vancouver
Went to the Canucks game against the Oilers with John, Shelly and my dad Saturday night. Had dinner first and then the game. Good game but would have been better if we didn't lose 5-4 in OT. Shelly treated us all - that was so generous of her. Afterwards, I just roamed the streets for a few hours people watching.

Christmas Brunch Party
Had a bunch of people over for a brunch - serving up pancakes, quiche, homemade cinnamon buns, waffles, scrambled eggs, saugages, chocolate fondue. You know what That's way too much to try organize at once - too stressful to get everything done at the same time and then you don't even get to visit with your guests. Was nice to have people over and wanted to have more people but it's just too tough to serve more than 20 for breakfast. We had fun playing pin the nose on the snowman.

Sigh - so upset about my accident.
