Day 10 and 11 At Sea and Cadiz
Yesterday was a slack day - didn´t do much of anything. Wake up, eat a fine breakfast, sit in sun, eat a fine lunch with beers, sit in sun, play in a golf chipping game, eat a fine dinner of brie in pastry, lobster bisque and Duck LÓrange and then chocolate mousse for dessert. Standard day.
It was formal day so we dressed up in our suites and ties and saw a show of a girl from afghanistan playing the oboe. Well I didn´t really want to see this, sounded very boring but went anyways and she was very attractive which kept people in their seats to start and then she played very well and was entertaining so all in all a good show. I´m so ready for a rock show. Godsmack is 3 weeks away.
Then had some more beers, some MGDs I bought in Turkey. Then went up to the dance nightclub area which is usually boring but last night was hopping. I sat alone at the bar kind of uncomfortable for a bit and then then captain sat beside me and bingo, I was in the middle of everyone and it turned out to be a really fun night, meeting lots of people and I drank way too much and stumbled back at 3AM.
Hungover at 8AM, we were up and eating again and off the boat to Cadiz where I am now typing this up at an internet cafe. Cadiz is a wonderful little place in southern span on the atlantic side. We passed through the strats of gilbrator at midnight last night where you could see spain and africa close by. Dad and I took an open bus tour and then walked for hours. Dad did really well walking around. We had a great lunch and more spanish beer and walked along the beach which was warm water and saw more girls who can´t afford bikini tops. poor things.
Off to the the boat now and then to Lisbon tomorrow. Trying to get out of the tour they offer as we can do better than what the ship offers.
